Overall, our experience in Tenerife was incredible. From the moment we landed, Cris and Romulus greeted us with a friendly smile and picked us up in a spacious van. We immediately felt comfortable.
Upon arriving at the Villa, we were introduced to the rest of the group and had the opportunity to get to know one another. This laid-back atmosphere helped create a sense of camaraderie among us.
After a brief rest, we gathered in the evening for a snack and spent two hours listening to everyone's stories. The organizers also explained the program to us, which gave us a clear understanding of what to expect. We then retired for the night, feeling excited about the upcoming days.
Each day had a well-structured schedule that revolved around our health and well-being. Starting off with stretching and two glasses of hydrogen water in the morning was a great way to kickstart the day. It was fascinating to learn about the importance of water for our health during this time.
Q&A sessions with Cris were always enlightening as he seemed to possess an incredible amount of knowledge about life in general. Breakfast consisted of fresh fruits, providing us with the necessary energy for the activities ahead.
One of our favorites was the morning walk on the beach, followed by a relaxing time by the swimming pool before dinner. In the evenings, we played games and deepened our connections with one another.
Throughout the retreat, the program remained consistent with slight variations. On the second day, we visited Centro Merici for therapies after breakfast, and on the third day, we explored the zoo. Day four included therapies again and an educational session about the importance of water. We also had the opportunity to visit Teide volcano on day five, followed by a late lunch and an educational discussion about mental health.
Day six involved exercising and recovering at Centro Merici, followed by sharing life stories over dinner to strengthen our newfound friendships. As the retreat came to an end on day seven, we couldn't help but feel a tinge of sadness. Starting the day with hydrogen water, exercise, and breakfast, we shared our impressions and couldn't believe how amazing our time had been.
Drinking 2.5 liters of hydrogen water each day was a challenge, but it truly benefitted our overall well-being. We were amazed by the detoxification process and the positive effects it had on our mental health. Additionally, we were able to shed some weight and leave feeling rejuvenated.
Cris and Romulus were exceptional organizers, sharing their life stories and knowledge with us. Their presence greatly enriched our experience, and we are grateful for their guidance. We definitely leave Tenerife feeling more knowledgeable and fulfilled, both mentally and spiritually.
In conclusion, our retreat in Tenerife was an unforgettable experience. We made lifelong friends, eliminated depression, underwent an amazing detox, and achieved personal growth. We are eagerly looking forward to returning in the future.
